Why Is It Important To Moisturize The Skin

Any creams, oils, lotions that you apply on your skin to make it less dry or keep it hydrated is a *moisturizer.* Sebum secreted from the body naturally that keeps your skin hydrated. When your skin lack sebum, Moisturizer is an external help to keep your skin hydrated.
Creams and lotions are cosmetic preparations used for protecting, moisturizing, and lubricating our skin.

Moisturizer shields sensitive skin, improve skin tone and texture and mask imperfection.  Moisturizers also have ingredients that help nourish the skin with antioxidants,  sunscreen protection, and other anti-aging benefits.

The benefits of moisturizing your face every day will help you to keep the skin clear, glowing skin, softer, smoother, wrinkle-free, and reduce the dry spots*

HOW MOISTURIZER WORK ON YOUR  SKIN. ??

Moisturizers rehydrate the top layer of skin cells and seal in water. It is one of the best ways to treat dry skin.
Applying moisturizer to your face will increase the wetness level of the coronium (outermost layer of the epidermis), stop the skin from drying out and if the moisturizer contains a sunscreen, also protect against sun damage.

The moisturizer also alters the skin’s natural balance of proteins, water, and lipids. Helping the skin in holding and retaining the water and keeping the skin well hydrated.

*Moisturizer is necessary for all types of skin including oily and dry skin.*
Don’t say because you have plenty *oil* on your face you won’t moisturize it.

When do you Moisturize?
Moisturizers should be applied in the morning and in the evening.
The day time moisturizers should contain sunscreen, while The night moisturizers should be intended to soothe, pacify, and repairs the skin from the day’s damage

*What you can expect from using a moisturizer

? *Prevent Dullness*

Using suitable moisturize will boost hydration in your skin, prevents flaking and dullness, and creates a protective layer of moisture that lasts all day.

? *Help skin stay young*

The skin on your face, ears, neck, and chest are very sensitive to environmental changes and are the most frequent areas of the body.

These areas of skin also shed cells more rapidly than other parts of the body. Therefore need moisture to repair itself which allows for younger skin cells to rise to the surface.

? *Reducing the appearance of wrinkles*

Moisturizing can prevent tearing or brushing of the skin. A moisturizer works to improve the appearance of a wrinkle by making the wrinkleless deep.

? *Reduce skin problems*

Moisturizing every day can reduce the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness. Both extremes are harmful to the skin and cause common skin conditions like acne.

The use of a moisturizer is adjusted to the type of skin. Make sure you’re choosing a moisturizer that works for your skin. Moisturizers should be applied gently, after cleansing the skin and washing it.
Moisturizers consist of occlusive(Help to prevent moisture from leaving the skin) substance, water-absorbent substance, or a combination of the two.
Dry skin needs oily moisturizers that contain a relatively high concentration of the occlusive compound. For normal or near-normal skin is advisable to use a moisturizer that combines an occlusive and water-absorbent substance

*Let’s take Some frequently asked questions about this Routine*:

  1. Can I use the Skincare for Face Only or for my Entire Body ?*

Skincare is used for your neck up to your face while Body care is from your shoulders down to the rest of your body . You should use your Skincare Sets only for your Face & Neck. Get a good Body Lotion for your shoulder downwards .

2. Why is applying eye cream the second step in the routine?*

Eye creams have a lighter texture than day or night creams, which are far richer. These heavier products would prevent eye cream from absorbing effectively and giving you the results you desire.

*But why do you only apply eye-cream to the under eye area and not the lid?*

The truth is, you don’t need to. Your eyelids naturally produce oils that keep them adequately moisturized – plus most of the signs of ageing sit around the eyes and under them.

3. We shouldn’t skip the serum then?*

Definitely not.
Serums have a high concentration of active ingredients such as antioxidants, acids and vitamins. Their light texture delivers nutrients faster and deeper into the skin than a moisturizer can.

4. Why can’t I just use my day cream overnight?*

Our skin follows a natural cycle. In the day it’s fighting aggressors and in the night it’s restoring from them. The products you wear need to complement this cycle.
Day cream for example normally contains SPF to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays, whilst night cream is richer to nourish the skin while you sleep.

5. What products are in a set ?*

To ensure that skin is properly treated and to get optimum results, we recommend four steps: cleanser, toner, eye cream, serum, day and night cream.

6. What’s the difference between a cleanser and a toner?*

Proper cleansing and toning cleans your face and prepares your skin to absorb the products that follow. Whilst cleansing removes impurities, excess oil and dead skin cells, toning takes-off the final traces of makeup. Toning also tightens the skin to minimize the appearance of pores and balances the skin’s pH

7. How soon should we expect to see results from following a skin care routine?*

All of our clinical tests are conducted over a 12week period, so our claims reflect this. But please remember that everyone is different. Genes and lifestyle factors like exposure to the sun, diet and pollution can all impact how fast or slow you show results.
